Garret takes to the stage in a Strictly Come Dancing Spectacular later this month with his partner Berni in aid of The Irish Homeless Street League.

Our very own "Tiny Dancer" has been practising day and night for the big event. Some may say that he has actually found his calling in life! The "Billy Elliot" of the Accounting world, as he has come to be known, has been inundated with offers from the likes of the Bolshoi Ballet Company Moscow and The Royal Ballet School in London. Even Hollywood has been in touch in relation to remakes of Footloose and Dirty Dancing.

Don't worry though, after much soul searching Garret has committed his future to his first love - Audit & Accounting.

All kidding and joking aside we would love to generate some support for Garret and Berni and even more importantly for the Irish Homeless Street League.

I will personally guarantee that all sponsors will recieve photographic evidence from the night. Generous donations will be rewarded with video eveidence!! (Just what is needed for the next time Garret walks into your office on a Pre Monitoring Visit or Practice Review).

Below is a message from Garret & Berni about how you can support them:-

Hi All,

Strictly Spin

My partner and I have volunteered ourselves to take part in the Strictly Spin event on 30th January 2015 in aid of the Irish Street League Homeless World Cup. The event will bring to the stage 14 couples all raising much needed funds for the Irish Homeless Street Leagues. Further event details can be found on the dedicated Facebook page here.

There are two ways to donate to our charity:

  • Individually by clicking on the “Sponsor Me” button on our dedicated event page Berni Cafolla & Garret Wynne Strictly Spin you can help us to raise much needed funds for the charity.
  • For corporate sponsors there are dedicated corporate packages available which will enable you to sponsor our dance and promote your company through your sponsorship. You can download the corporate brochure here. If you would like to avail of a corporate pack please contact me on 087-2396596.

The issues surrounding homelessness have been well documented in the press and we would ask for your support as we know first-hand the work that the charity undertakes and the people that it benefits on a daily basis.

The Irish Homeless Street League help over 500 young people participate in football leagues which are run throughout the country. They then select a team from these leagues to represent Ireland in the Homeless World Cup which takes place in Amsterdam next September. The primary target groups are the homeless, drug and alcohol dependant individuals in rehabilitation, ex-offenders and the long-term unemployed with identified learning disabilities. Not only does the Irish Homeless Street Leagues provide a social outlet for those battling many of life’s challenges but it offers a sense of belonging, building confidence, self-belief, and team building characteristics all of which are fundamental in personal development.

Please help us to help them,

Berni & Garret
