One year on from the introduction of the new (IAASA) International Standards on Auditing (Ireland), auditors are getting to grips with the changes and nuances introduced. The new Auditing and Ethical Standards are just another in a long line of legislative and regulatory changes that have faced the profession over the past number of years. Notwithstanding the latest wave of change to sweep the profession it is essential that auditors now focus on optimising their processes and procedures to ensure profitable implementation of the new standards.

Des O’Neill – Co-Founder and Managing Director, OmniPro
